For the past six years, Mike Bushell has been showcasing unusual or alternative sports as part of his Saturday morning sport bulletin on BBC Breakfast. He has now sampled over 300 different sports! Listen to him speak enthusiastically about his experiences.

Dr Belinda Wheaton has several publications on alternative or ‘lifestyle’ sports and lectures on the subject at the University of Brighton. Here she gives insight into what makes them different to the mainstream.
