Spring Nails

This spring you can expect to see an array of pretty pastel shades which you’ll be pairing up with you’re collection of rings and accessories as opposed to hiding them with wooly gloves! Pastel pinks, zesty orange, and lovely lilacs is what’s trending from YSL to Dior.
My personal favourites are Dior’s Garden party collection. Not only because they’re unusual shades but they’re scented too! You can buy these gorgeous nail varnishes here... The two limited edition shades are available in ‘Waterlily’ and ‘Forget me not’ and cost £18.
Yves Saint Laurent’s summery tangerine and bubblegum shades come as a delightful pair and are the cheaper alternative costing £28 for both.
Moving away from those dark drab colours and towards the summer means moving towards colourful light tones which compliment almost any skin tone. Following on from the trend of ice cream shades I have announced my love for light blues and pistachio greens. Barry M are renowned for their diversity in colour choices and thankfully have catered for this spring’s pastel trend. Not only that, but they’re £2.99 how can you say no! Below I have used Blue Moon but because of the price you can’t expect much durability so I always recommend applying a base coat and a top coat.

If you want to try before you buy then why not use this cool virtual nail website where you can alter your skin tone, nail length, and try on the spectrum of colours.
