Lauren is no stranger to dipping her hair in the box of crayons.. Take a look at her previous colour choices:

I don’t know about you but I am loving this new trend! The future is just getting brighter and brighter with iridescent canvases of colour trending this year, I’m sure the rainbow dip-dye is going to continue to be hot. Originally starting with the ‘ombre’ dip-dye it appears that fashionista’s from around the world have been taking a leaf out of Nicki Minaj’s book and are opting for a more daring choice of colours, some even sporting a multitude of colours. If you can’t decide which colour to choose why not go for them all like Made in Chelsea’s Gabriella Ellis (To see her rainbow dip dye click here) But she’s not the only celeb to jump on the dip-dye bandwagon: Cher Lloyd, Kate Bosworth and Peaches Geldof have all chosen to brighten up with neon tresses. Claire Sanday, Webster Whiteman, London comments on this seasons edgy trend stating that “for the illusion of thickness, opt for a pastel pink to capture a soft feminine feel that’s still fashion forward.”

If you’re already over the dipdye you can always reverse this and go for the coloured roots as seen is Jean-Paul Gaultier’s A/W’ 12 show if you’re like me however, and a bit too scared to go for this option then why not stick to the most popular shade of neon pink as tried and tested by moi!

Do not fear those who really want to try this but don’t want it to be permanent! I simply used a can of pink hairspray which cost just £3 from superdrug applying it generously to the ends of my extensions (and yes it washed out after one wash) so if you fancy more of a quirkly look for one night only why not give it a go! You can also get it in blue and blonde.

If you’re interested in dip-dying your hair extensions this can be tricky as generally the extensions won’t take well to the hair dye and works much better on blonde extensions than brown. Take a look at this video for tips on dying blonde extensions a soft lavender:
