We've all been there, either as a child or in adulthood. The house is almost perfect, except for one major flaw. The dreaded box bedroom. No one wants to be lumped with that room, so I hope to supply some ideas on how to make it more bearable.

Being a regular buyer of the Ideal Home magazines, I just had to visit the Ideal Home Show 2012 and see Laurence Llewelyn Bowen and Alan Titchmarsh in the flesh!

'Shabby Chic' in simple terms, means old fashioned furniture in a distressed condition. Though this definition doesn't sound very appealing, I am a lover of shabby chic, which is having a huge comeback.
